Meet Chef Raven
Hi, I’m Raven, the owner and chef behind SO RAVEN Catering & Personal Chef Services.
My love for cooking began at a very young age. As far back as I can remember, I simply loved being in the kitchen. While I didn't have one specific person who inspired me to become a chef , I grew up watching chefs like Rachael Ray and Chef Roblé, which only fueled my passion for cooking.
Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, I began building my culinary foundation through hospitality and culinary classes in middle and high school before attending Golden Strip Career Center’s Culinary Arts program. There, I earned my ServSafe certification and was honored to receive a Gold Medal in Restaurant Service through SkillsUSA.

Raven made my husband's birthday incredibly special! From start to finish, her communication was excellent, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We also added the tablescape upgrade, and it was absolutely worth it—it elevated the whole evening and created such a beautiful atmosphere. The food was amazing, and every dish was delicious. You can tell Raven puts so much care and attention into every detail. If you're looking for a personal chef for a special occasion, I highly recommend her. Hands down one of the best cooks/chefs from out of Greenville SC! I procrastinated until my mom seen her work and wanted me to get a meal prep from her and she did not disappoint or come short! I got the 3 dishes 2 of each, salmon pasta, steak bowl and veggie pasta I believe; all were deliciously tasty! She has me hooked and will continue to have her as my chef or for catering needs!
